I have installed the driver directly on the laptop on which I tested it. Windows 7 is on a separate partition on the same disk as Win XP. The partition is not touched by the Vista. The plotter works well in the two OSs

I've tried to download the driver from the manufacturer's website. But it didn't work. I've tried to install the driver with the installer. But it didn't work. After installation the print driver is added to the list of installed printers. But when I select the print driver, the plotter appears as a printer and not as a plotter.

After searching the web I found out that this plotter had problems with Windows 2000, Windows XP and maybe Vista. I've tried so many things, i can't remember, is there any way I could manage to fix it?

Redsail has made some improvements in their industrial plotters. It's a good dedicated cutter. They don't offer a software now, but they did with their old version. For the plotter you need to use a software called Easyplott. If you can't find it, try their customer service, and they can send it to you. Go to the Redsail link at the top of the page. Just make sure you put the cutter with the Redsail model number in the search. Also, you will need to have ArtCut 6 installed on your computer. The software to cut is Artcut 6. You can download it for free here. If you don't have Artcut 6 downloaded, they have made an upgrade called Aetek to CD. It's a free upgrade. Go to the Redsail link at the top of the page and you can download it for free. Artcut 6 or Aetek to CD will work with your cutter and plotter. If you have any other problems, let us know.
